savior of us all. The truth is, while these FAD (Faulty

the short time, they often have side effects that can be dangerous to your
health. A FAD diet is one that focuses on a particular food and that avoids other types of foods. This helps to reduce the weight drastically in a short time. But just how long do you think you can keep eating large amounts of just one type of food? Anybody gets tired of nothing but steaks after a while. It may seem that this picks on one recent diet FAD, but Everybody has heard about restricting one type of food or another to loose weight. In the late 80s, fat was the enemy. In the last decade, it has been carbohydrates. The truth is, you need a lot of nutrients apart from just the protein. Fiber content, vitamins, minerals and anti oxidants are not found in these foods. If there is deficiency in the nutrition in your foods then you may suffer from a lot of other disorders in the future. Everyone should look at themselves and make the decision to be healthy, not just pick a random number on the scale. Be realistic. You don't have to eliminate any food. Just control portions, eat a balanced mixture of foods, and get some exercise. |
